bbw ai chat: Write a small scene that leaves room for choice
Use one place, one object and one question rather than a dense roleplay script.
Choose a place you can hold in mind
A terrace, a harbour bench or a shaded garden is enough. You do not need a map of the entire town. A clear place makes it easier to keep the exchange coherent while leaving space for invention. Define the setting as fictional and make every participant an adult. Keep real addresses, private workplaces and other identifying details outside the scene.
Add an object that can change
A blank postcard, an unfinished sketch or a book with a ribbon gives the conversation a focus. Unlike a long backstory, a small object can be understood at once. Decide what is unresolved about it. Perhaps the sketch needs a title or the postcard needs a message. Avoid loading it with many secrets, deadlines and rules before the first reply arrives.
Ask one question and leave options open
“Would you finish the sketch or walk to the lighthouse?” offers a choice without forcing an outcome. You can even add, “Or suggest a different idea.” A scene should remain collaborative, not a test where the character must guess your hidden expectations. If a response introduces something unwanted, restate the boundary plainly and remove that detail from your next turn.
Keep the scene editable
Treat the initial setup as a draft. Changing the weather or slowing the pace is a normal creative decision, not a failure. External providers may have different memory and context limits, so restate important details when needed and verify their feature claims directly. The collection supplies imaginative starting points; it does not guarantee consistent behaviour at another service.
